The development is getting closer to being started and there are two of Ecoliv’s designs in the development. To learn more about Cape Paterson Ecovillage from Brendan Condon and Mike O’Mullane – read below.

The Cape Paterson Ecovillage team have produced a new animation showing all the features of the project in vivid 3D detail. The animation shows the project from the air and on the ground, and shows a number of the actual house designs developed by our architects and designers.

The animation shows a number of features that set the ecovillage apart from other developments in Bass Coast and across Victoria, including:

• over 50% open space – this compares to around 5% open space you will find on most conventional housing developments
• beautiful coastal views over Bass Strait
• community facilities including fitness stations, community gardens, barefoot bowls, parks, kilometers of walking tracks and electric vehicle charge stations
• comfortable, affordable zero carbon houses
